Apr 4-5: D.C.I.Y.C. 3rd Annual Contest Scholarship Powwow
Location: Jay High School Gymnasium, Monroe Street, Jay, OK 74346
Event Detail: The Delaware County Inter-tribal Youth Council offers two scholarships for $750 each. One is for an Indian student from our own school and the other is for an Indian person enrolled at or currently attending college that participates in our pow-wow. Crafts booths available for a fee.

Apr 4-6: Cherokee River Indian Community Spring Homecoming Indian
Festival
Location: CRIC Complex, between Moulton & Double Springs, AL
Event Detail: Directions- on Hwy. 33, between Mile Markers 15 & 16, then east for 3 miles on County Road 67. Thursday is set-up day for vendors & campers. Hours are 9a until dark. Admission $2; dancers in regalia, children under 12, & seniors 65 & over are admitted free. There is free primitive camping on-site. There will be Indian crafts, Native food, intertribal dancing, storytellng, flute playing, blowgun competition, gold panning demonstations, games & more. Head staff & host drum TBA. There will be door prizes for dancers. Vendor space is $15 per day + 2% tax on all sales. All children arriving by school bus or van on
Friday will be admitted free.

Event Detail: The Chief Dull Knife College Powwow has combined with St. Labres in April. The CDKC Powwow will NOT be in May but in APRIL. This is the first time St.Labre and CDKC has come together to bring you the finest singing and dancing. We invite all people to come and dance and sing.

Event Detail: Fully run by the students of the Native American Student Association & by the staff at the Indian Education Center at Eastern Washington University. This Pow Wow is the final event in our Indian Awareness Week. During the week of April 7-12 we have invited several Indian speakers & artists to share their stories & information. Also, during the week we will have a rededication ceremony for our newly renovated Longhouse. The Pow Wow starts on Friday at 6p and at 1p on Saturday.
