Mar 1-2: 10th Annual Madison Contest Pow Wow
Location: Madison Park School, 1431 East Campbell Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85014
Event Detail: In addition to contest dancing we will also have Gourd Dancing, & LOTS of intertribal. If dancing is not your thing then come for the Drum Contest or the best Fry Bread around. I’m sure you'll find that perfect piece of jewelry at one of our many vendors. Vendor spaces are available. All dancers and drums are invited & a Pow Wow wouldn't be a Pow Wow with out the public. So you are very welcomed. The Pow Wow is to benefit all 300 Native Children in the Madison school District. We are also trying to have a Spot Light Dance so if you are wanting to compete in this event please RSVP. Adult $3, Children Are FREE. Gourd Dancing starts at 10a, Grand Entry at 1p both days. Mar 8 -9: California State University Long Beach - 33rd Annual Pow Wow
Location: Upper quad, CSU Long Beach campus, 1250 Bellflower Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90840 (see website for maps)
Event Detail: The CSULB Pow Wow is the largest spring pow wow in Southern California. It is not a fundraiser or benefit pow wow. The pow wow's primary goal is to show the strong Indian presence at CSULB. CSU Long Beach has the unique distinction of being located at Puvungna, the site of a Tongva village. Puvungna has been said to mean both the "Gathering Place" as well as the "Place From Which All Stems." In addition to contest and inter-tribal dancing, there will be Gourd dancing and Hand Drum Contest. Dancers, registration closes at 3:00 p.m., Saturday the 8th. As always, American Indian vendors will be selling both traditional and contemporary American Indian Art. Foods such as corn soup, Navajo Tacos, fry bread, and buffalo burgers will be available for purchase. This event is free. Parking is readily available at no charge, and the campus is handicapped accessible. All dancers and drums are invited and the public is welcomed. We strongly recommend spectators to bring folding chairs.

Mar 8-9: 29th Annual Pah-Loots-Pu Celebration
Location: Washington State University campus, Pullman, WA
Event Detail: Grand Entry starts at 12p & 6p both days. The Pah-Loots-Pu Celebration is possible due to the efforts of Native Students at Washington State University.

Mar 28-30: 4th Annual Circle of Friends Powwow
Location: Wiley T. Jones Fairgrounds on Hwy 1, approximately 3 miles South of Forrest City, Arkansas
Event Detail: This is a non-contest powwow and all dancers are welcome FREE ADMISSION - FREE PARKING - FREE CAMPING. Tent camping available - Motor home hookups available. Please RSVP for Motor Home hookups Several nearby hotels to choose from if you prefer it. You do not have to be "NATIVE" to attend - everyone is welcome here. The entire family is welcome, even four-legged's. Please keep them on a leash at all times and picked up after. Co-hosted by the Circle of Friends Powwow Council, St. Francis County Judge, Carl Cisco, and our friends at the St. Francis County Museum. Co-Host Drums: An all-women's drum, Mother Earth Beat, and the respective men in this bunch have their own drum, 4 Winds. We have planned two other drums in addition, but have not confirmed yet. Guest drums are available. We will feed drummers and certainly offer a blanket dance to guest drums.
