March 12-14: Native American Pow Wow Celebration
Location: Withlacoochee River Park, 12449 Withlacoochee Blvd., Dade City, FL 33525
Event Detail: Gates open at 9am for the 3 day event. Gate closed at 7pm on Friday, 10pm on Saturday, and 4pm on Sunday. Admission is $2 per adult, and children 12 and under are FREE. Camping is available. Pasco County Parks and Recreation is co-sponcer. Come and see the Aztec fire dancers from Mexico City, Mexico. They do play with fire. Host drum is R.C. Moatt and the Plainsmen and dance group. Florida artist will be at the pow wow along with well known flute player, Joseph Z. MC: Tom Tointigh. On Saturday the 13th we will have a motercycle run. All who ride will brind 2 non-parishable foods for the needy. Lots of riders from different clubs, tribes, and anyone who wants to ride is invited. No drugs, alcohol, or firearms will be allowed.
