Event Detail: Drum Contest: $1,000 Winner-Take-All, 5 Singers Minimum-No Drum Hopping. Fri May 9: Registration 5-7pm; Sat: Parade 10am, contestents receive points for participating- arrive 30 min early behind the courthouse. Gourd Dancing 2-5pm & 6-7pm. Supper Break 5-6pm, Grand Entry 7pm, Presentation Awards 11pm. All Adult Categories pay $400, $300, $200; All Junior categories pay $100, $75, $50 (Junior Categories are combined). All Contestants must be in full dress to receive prize money.
