September 10-12: Best of the West Benefit Contest and Healing Ceremonial

Event Detail: Healing the People Ceremonial has had to be RELOCATED due to extreme fire danger in the Chemult, Oregon area!!! Klamath Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program of the Klamath Treatment Center will be Co-hosting The Best of the West Benefit Contest Powwow on September 10-12, 2004 at 5160 Summers Lane in Klamath Falls.
This event will include a powwow and open-air market for Native American and artists in the area who would like to participate. The Open-air market will open on Friday, September 10th and continue through Sunday September 12th.
Other activities of the three day event will include a powwow and ceremonial, a medals presentation for all veterans, firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical professionals, good food, and fun for the whole family. Proceeds earned from the contests will go to KADA as a donation from Celebrating Traditions Inc.
