June 4-6: Frontier Days XXX - American Frontier Spirit

Event Detail: This year Frontier Days celebrates its 30th Anniversary as Fort Dodge's award winning, city wide festival. Voted one of the top 150 Attractions by the American Bus Association, and one of the Top 75 Attractions by Senior Group Travel magazine, this years event will be the biggest and best yet! Many of the activities are located at the Fort Museum, but this festival is too big for just one location! And best of all, admission requires only a Frontier Days Souvenir Button and is for all four days! Activities include a Buckskinner's Rendezvous - Contests of old-time skills demonstrated and handmade crafts for sale in this recreated frontier camp.

Jun 5-6: Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve Spring Rendezvous
Location: Wild Winds Buffalo Preserve, 6975 N Ray St, Fremont, IN 46737
Event Detail: This is a 1800's encampment. Families, traders and demonstraters welcome. Period correct itmes only. Wood, water and Port-a-potties provided. We will have games for Men,Women and children. An Aucction of handcrafted items will be held Sunday. This event is open to the public free of charge and groups are welcome. Tours of the Buffalo are available for a fee. Help celebrate the arrival of our new calves.

June 12-13: 2nd Annual Rich Ballou Kansas State Youth Championship Muzzleloading Shoot
Location: Mulberry Campground, Kanopolis State Park, 33 miles from Salina, KS
Event Detail: Presented by Prarie Longrifles, Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders & Arkriver Muzzloaders. Early setup, June 11. Ranges open 8a-4:30 (Sat), 8a-11a (Sun). $15 single, $20 family. No camp fee. Standard camp and rendezvous rules apply. Competition open to Youth, 16 and under. Rifle & Pistol competition. Optional knife & Hawk throwing competition. Prizes awarded for 5 age groups. One overall State Champion will be crowned.

Event Detail: We are a family based club with events for men, women, and children which include primitive shooting, knife and hawk trail walk, Seneca run, primitive bow and a frying pan toss for the women. We have both modern and primitive camping. There will be three full days of Mountain Man fun. Last year we had over 200 shooters (men, women and children of all ages) participate.
