June 3-4: Alabama-Coushatta 37th Annual Pow Wow
Location: Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, Hwy 190 East (ballpark), Livingston, TX 77356
Event Detail: Drum Contest. Entry fee $25, 1st place $2,000. second place; $1,500. Third place $800. Contest pow wow. Special contests: Chicken dance contest, Men's fancy, Grass, Two-Step Couples, 49' singing contest. Dancer registration 2pm to 7 pm.. Friday, June 3rd. $5. entry fee. Admission $5. per person. parking free. Bring your lawn chairs. No alchohol or drugs allowed. Host Southern drum : Southern Boyz.. Oklahoma. Host Northern Drum.. White Rox... Utah; Host Gourd: Comanche Little Pony Gourd Society. Head Man & Head lady picked daily. 4 pm & 6 pm gourd dance (daily); 5 pm dinner for singers, dancers. 7 pm grand entry (daily).

June 3-5, 2005: Battle Mountain Muzzleloaders Spring Rendezvous
Location: range/rendezvous location in Black Hills, Hot Springs, SD zip n/a
Event Detail: Come to the Black Hills of South Dakota and rendezvous with us! Private range/rendezvous in Ponderosa Pine & fireflies with a beautiful view. Aggregate shoot; tomahawk & knife throwing; long bow; Gambler's shoot; cast iron skillet toss; best outfit, fun competitions, blanket trading, primitive traders welcome and more. Everyone welcome. Fun for the entire family. Wind Cave Nat. Park, Custer State Park, historical Hot Springs & Custer SD, Wild Horse Sanctuary, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Monument all within short distance. Only $20.00 to camp and participate in all competitions for 3 days, $10.00 for non-campers aggregate shooting. Bring your love for pre-1840's freedom & history and we'll see ya by the campfire. Location: 3.5 miles west of McCammon, Idaho, I-15 exit 44, McCammon, ID
Event Detail: Directions: Take the I-15 exit #44 and follow the signs! Join us for a fun filled weekend while you test your skills: Blackpowder Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun shoots, trailwalk, hawk & knife. Kids games, women's games, cannon shoot. Learn how to start a fire with flint and steel, enjoy mountain-man history and tall tales, and expreience life as it was in the west, pre-1840. Enjoy shopping in the trader's circle.

Location: Conant Creek, Drummond, ID 83420
Event Detail: Join in for the 16th annual Fort Henry Buckskinners rendezvous at the 1810 camp site of William Ashley. (It is even documented) With woods walk shoots, hawk and knife, traders,primative archery and general foo-for-aw it should be a shinin' week. Send me a smoke signal and I'll email you a flyer.

Location: Kennedy Ranch, Highway 55, Cascade, ID 83611
Event Detail: Turn East between mile post 109-110. Follow dirt road until you see a Dead End sign, turn left, pass through green gate (please close after you enter) and proceed on main dirt road until you see the Rendezvous site on the right. Everyone Welcome!! !

Location: Lewis and State Park, West of IN. 29, Onawa, IA 51040
Event Detail: Come and see the only authentic L.& C. Keelboat replica in the world & take a ride. Lots of seminars, games and competitions. Bowmaker Long Bow will also have an archery shoot. Lots of campers & traders. Come and have some (FUN). HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE.

June 11-12, 2005 - Rendezvous Region Festival / Coon 'n Crockett Muzzleloaders Primitive Rendezvous and Shoot
Location: Icelandic State Park, Cavalier, ND
Event Detail: Icelandic State Park - West of Cavalier, North Dakota on Highway 5. C'nC camp located South across Highway 5 from the park. Primitive clothing and lodge for Participants in camp. Primitive camp, shooting range, traders row and tin tipi camp in wooded area. Wood, water and hooters on site. Early set-up permitted Friday, Sunday overnight is okay. NO CAMP FEE. Modern camping, showers in main park for a fee Blanket shoots, primitive and novelty targets. TRADERS & DEMONSTRATORS WELCOME (NO FEE). Note: Those in modern clothing or who wish to partake of other festival activities / areas of the park, will be requested to purchase a $5.00 Rendezvous Region button.

Location: Old Bedford Village, Bedford, PA
Camps, battles, living history both days. Over 700 Re-enactors. 9am to 5 pm daily. Old Bedford Village, a private not-for-profit historical site in Bedford, Pa is a collection of over 40 reproduction and authentic log, stone and frame buildings moved to the site from all over Bedford County. Each building boasts a collection of unique artifacts that tell the story of early American life in Bedford County and Pennsylvania from 1750 to 1900.

June 18-25, 2005: High Plains Regional Rendezvous
Location: 4 Moons Rendezvous Site, Rural Gary, SD 57237
Event Detail: Nestled among glorious shade trees along a babbling brook, come relive the Fur Trade Era in South Dakota! All of the camp events are included in your camp fee with plenty of events planned. Daily Shooting Events (traditional style firearms, open iron sites, patched round ball, flint or percussion), Shotgun Shoot, Knife & Hawk Events (No more than 4" hawk blade, natural handle), Primitive Archery Events (Period correct bows and arrows only, NO SYNTHETIC NOCKS OR FLETCHING), a Trek is planned. Seminars and Demonstrations, Kids and Women's Events, Evening Games & Entertainment. Raffle at Closing Ceremony and Auction Friday Night. If you are interested in day trips there are plenty of Historical Sites within a short drive of the camp.

Location: Rockvale, MT 59041
Event Detail: Rendezvous is held on the site of a historic Rocky Mountain Fur Company brigade 1836-37 campsite called Howell's Camp where Rock Creek flows into the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone river about 30 miles south of Billings, Montana. This site is mentioned several times in Osborne Russell's "Journal of a Trapper"

Event Detail: This family-orientated and educational festival features nationally known ancient & heritage artists from across the nation. We offer hands-on opportunities for youth, families and Scouts and provide great food at reasonable prices. There are no vendors fees or commissions. All we ask is that you demonstrate your craft throughout the festival. We ask that only hand-made items and supplies be offered to create an old-time atmosphere. Revolutionary Copper Kettle
Patterned after an original in the Museum of the Fur Trade, this unique copper kettle has a ring on the lid for lifting and iron socket handle so the lid can be used as a skillet, and an iron bail for hanging or handling the entire pot. Handmade of copper with a heavy tin lining. These kettles date from approximately 1760 on.
