Location: Finley River Park, Ozark, MO 65714
Event Detail: Family event, pre-1840 rendezvous held in the city park. New this year: Highland games and Jane has thought up a new mystery contest! $15 camp fee, wood, water and showers on site. See our flyer on talking_bear.com.

June 9-10, 2007: Island Rendezvous

Location: Isle a la Cache Museum, 501 E. Romeo Road, Romeoville, IL 60446
Event Detail: Isle a la Cache Museum is having a Grand Re-Opening along with its 24th annual Island Rendezvous! Our 18th century French fur-trade event will utilize new facilities, improved exhibits, and a changed landscape. We’re back on the island in Romeoville, IL, to enjoy this FREE event featuring the best music, daring competitions, and skilled demonstrators. We invite Native Americans, Voyageurs, Sutlers, Military, and demonstrators. Pre-registration is required for the jury process. Water, firewood, straw, and porta-johns are provided. June 10-16, 2007: Santa Fe Trail Rendezvous

Location: 5.5 miles West on HWY 555, Raton, NM 87740
Event Detail: A re-enactment of the mountain man era, pre-1840, on the Santa Fe Trail. Pre-1840 camp. Seperate Tin Tipi Camp. Public welcome, free. 6,800 Ft. elevation with tall pines, grassy meadows and a cool stream. Most competition events of any rendezvous. Event Website

June 13-17, 2007: Ft. Henry Rendezvous

Location: 17mi south of Ashton, ID., 2 mi. off Hwy 32, Drummond, ID 83420
Event Detail: On the actual 1810 winter campsite of Andrew Henry. Traders row, hawk and knife, rifle, pistol, shotgun, primitive bow competitions plus kids games. Tin camp plus primitive camps. Public Welcome.

June 22-24, 2007: Blue Ridge Mountain Men Summer Rendezvous

Location: Baldwin, GA 30511
Event Detail: Period dress not required, so if you are just getting into buckskinning we are beginner friendly. Period and modern tent camps are together. Hotels are located near the range. List of Events: Longhunter Aggregate includes-Muzzleloader Rifle Woods Walk, Fire Starting, Tomahawk and Knife Throwing, Archery Walk, Boone-Callaway Rescue Run-Two person team event. Don’t worry about not having a teammate there will be plenty of folks ready to volunteer. (Items needed by team, bow, arrows and tomahawk.) Involves canoeing but that’s all the details that we’re giving now. Event Website

Location: Lower Mill Flats, North Hegler Canyon, Raft River Area, ID 83318
Event Detail: Events for the whole family. Trailwalk, knife & hawk trailwalks, paper shoots, primitive archery, smoothbore events, seneca run. A good time to be had by all in one of Idaho's great mountain meadows. Primative & modern camps.

June 27-July 1, 2007: 1838 Rendezvous

Location: Original 1838 Site, Riverton, WY 82501
Event Detail: This annual rendezvous celebrates the original 1838 rendezvous. This is the only original site of an actual rendezvous maintained by our non-profit organization. We pride ourselves in being a 'Beginner's rendezvous' trying to encourage novices to experience the 'Shining Times' of the trapper's era. We offer the traditional Black Powder and Hawk 'N Knife competitions but are most proud of the various seminars we offer. See our website for samples of seminars and registration materials.
