May, 5-6-7, 2006: 4th. Annual P.E.A.K All Archery Rendezous
Location: North from Ft. Worth on I-35 W, take 287 North toward Decatur, exit to 114 West at Rhome, go across 287 over-pass, turn Left (south) on service road, about 1/4 mile, turn Right on C.R. 4651 (first road south of 114) follow it 1 mile, turn Right on Brammer Rd. go about 1/4 mile to the Gate on the Right (ABC sign). Event Detail: Hear Ye Hear Ye Come one Come all, Traders, Trappers, Mountain men and there families are all welcome. We will have many events to join in on. So come and be ready to have a lot of fun. The time period is pre 1840s, Here are the list of events :William Tell, Trail Walk, Flying Pig, Walk Across Texas, Precision, Long Range And of course, we can't forget the kids, we will have Activities just for them. Cost is: Camp fee-Walk-In fee-If you plan on join in on the events, please, bring a prize for the prize blanket.

May 26-29, 2006: 2nd Annual Keith & Barb Hanselman Memorial Day Rendezvous
Location: Lakr Gage Orhcard Orland, Indiana 46703
Event Detail: The Pokagon Longrifles would like to welcome all interested parties to join us in a weekend of festivities and fun from a bygone era. Memorial Day weekend 2006 we will be hosting a rendezvous at our club grounds at Coyote Ridge at the beautiful Lake Gage Orhcard near historic Orland,IN.The Longrifles will be conducting a number of shooting events along with hawk and knife competition and skillet toss as well as a dessert cooking contest. THIS IS A SHOOTERS WEEKEND!! Events include a woodwalks, bench shoot, and line shoot as well as well as the above mentioned. The weekend will conclude with a brigade shoot and meat shoot for a turkey on monday morning. There will be prizes awarded for each event as well as an aggregate champion, so bring your powder and lead and come ready to show your skills.Water and wood provided and there are restroom facilities and a shower on site.No pets allowed (except for medical reasons). Cost is $20 per campsite and that includes your shoot fees for one of each event. Must be camped to shoot. Early setup starts May 24. THIS IS A PRE-1840 EVENT and NMLRA RULES APPLY! Location: Mallard Lake 3450 S 137th West Ave. Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063 (near Tulsa)
Event Detail: 2006 will be our first year for this event. Authentic, period clothing required Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Lots of hawk, knife, shooting and other contests w/ prizes. Early arrivals on Thursday, May 25 and late departures on Tuesday, May 30 are OK. Separate camp areas for authentic primitive campers, modern campers, tin tipis and trade tents. Small camp fee includes free firewood, privy and potable water. Space is limited. Advance registration and payment guarantees your camp area. Sponsored by The South Platte Valley Historical Society and The Tallow River Trappers. We will have a Traders Row, Dutch Oven Cooking, and several Mountain Man events and demonstratons.
