May 2007 MOUNTAIN MAN RENDEZVOUS
May 1-6, 2007: 26th Annual Bloody Lake Rendezvous
Location: Black Hawk Memorial Park, 2995 County Hwy Y, Woodford, WI 53599
Event Detail: On the historical site of The Battle of Bloody Lake; between Col. Dodge's militia and Black Hawk's Kickapoo war-party. Beautifully groomed site with lots of trees on 40 acres between the Pecatonica River and Horseshoe Lake. Wood & water furnished. Ice available. Shoots, woodswalk, hawk, knife and cooking contests. Kids games. Entertainment Saturday night. Good traders' rendezvous.

May 2-6, 2007: Lancaster County Longrifles Rendezvous & Shoot

May 2-6, 2007: Quapaw Creek Rendezvous
Location: Sparks America Campground, 4663 East 99 Road, Sparks, OK 74869
Event Detail: Pre 1840s Event. Period attire required at all times by all participants. Rifle, hawk, knife, archery, and many other competitions. All you old skinners bring your smoke poles and come show the pups a thing or two. Event Website

May 11-13, 2007: Appalachian Festival
Location: Coney Island, Cincinnati, OH 45228
Event Detail: Struck-by-Lightning, a womens' community drum will present a drumming and singing demonstration on May 11 at 10am and 1pm, May 12 at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm, May 13 at 12 noon and 4pm, at the Appalachian Fest. The women are members of the Mekoce Shawnee of Ohio and West Virginia. They would like to invite all dancers, and people, to feel free to dance and enjoy the songs to honor all our relations. Event Detail: Just off Hwy 41 easy access, 16 acres on historical site, plenty of room, and parking close by. Featuring Richard 'Blackhawk' Kapusta, food vendors and traders, lots to see. School day Friday May 18th. Demonstrations happening through out the day. Registration fee $10 per camp or $15 per trader.

May 18-20, 2007: Sierra Muzzleloader Open Spring Rendezvous
Location: Sierra Muzzleloader, New York Flat Road, Forbestown, CA 95941
Event Detail: Come join us for fun, food and tall tales at our 19th annual Rendezvous; lots of events, on separate trail walks, including Rifle, Pistol, H & K, Tradegun, Cannon and Mortar, Primitive Archery, shotgun shoot, fort shoot, Kids events including bead making onsite, and Women's events. May 25-28, 2007: 3rd Annual Keith & Barb Hanselman Memorial Day Rendezvous
Location: 3425 N 550 W, Angola, IN 46703
Event Detail: The Pokagon Longrifles would like to invite all interested parties to join us for a weekend of fun and festivities from a bygone era! Memorial Day weekend 2007 the Longrifles will be hosting our annual rendezvous at our club grounds at Coyote Ridge near historic Orland, IN. THIS IS A SHOOTER'S WEEKEND!! We will have many events including woodwalks/line shoot/archery/pistol/hawk and knife/skillet toss and a dessert baking contest! Prizes are awarded for each event and an aggregate for overall top score in all events. There will be a turkey shoot and a brigade shoot. BRING YOUR POWDER AND BALL AND COME READY TO MAKE SMOKE. There will be a full schedule for the wee ones also with games and crafts each day. Water and wood provided and we have restroom and shower facilites on site. No pets allowed (except for medical). Cost is $25 per camp and this includes entry into each event plus dinner on Sunday night and medallion! THIS IS A PRE-1840 EVENT so NMLRA rules apply!

Event Detail: Campers, Traders and General Public are welcome to be a part of "Living History." Join us Memorial Weekend at the Lancaster Restoration Rendezvous near Fort Lupton, Colorado. Sponsored by The South Platte Valley Historical Society and The Tallow River Trappers. We will have a Traders Row, Dutch Oven Cooking, and several Mountain Man events and demonstrations.
