November 2-4, 2006: Beast Feast on the Cumberland Heritage Festival
Location: Clay County Rec Park, Hwy 52 Cumberland River Celina, TN 38551
Event Detail: Join in to celebrate the Long Hunter's trek through Cumberland River territory in North Central Tennessee. The Beast Feast on the Cumberland occurs yearly on the first Saturday on November. NRLHF rules apply. The Clay County Recreation Park borders the Cumberland River and offers EXCELLENT camping opportunities beneath mature tree cover. Your registration fee includes firewood to be picked up at a centralized location and trash disposal. Canoes and livestock welcome! Potable water is available at livestock pavilion. Park RV parking (no hook-ups) for support staff available. Nearby RV Park with hookups available at Dale Hollow Dam by PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY. The Festival features wild game cookery, re-enactors from Mountain Men and Civil War, and trades/crafts. Craft sellers are WELCOME with no SPACE CHARGE! CAMPSITES ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. There must be 30ft between family/group sites. Camp Sites $5.00 per tent. Earliest arrival=Thursday AM.

Traders Pre -1840 Trade goods ONLY. Food Venders; food of the period in Dutch
Ovens. Food handlers must have valid health cards. Directions : From I-15 take State Route 160 West to Blue Diamond Jct. go right on State Route 159, six miles to Spring Mt. Ranch State Park. There is water, bring your own fire wood. Fire must be above ground. Dogs,drunks and wild kids leashed or caged at all times. All must sign in at the registration table.
