September 30-October 3: Big Island Rendezvous & Festival
Location: Bancroft Bay City Park, Albert Lea, MN 56007
Event Detail: Minnesota's largest fur trade and early America reenactment. Over 1,000 costumed participants and 300 camps. Cajun music, food, dance, blackpowder shoot, showers, firewood, water on site. Workshops and demonstrations. Education Days (October 2-3, 2003) over 4,000 students. Location: 10 miles out of town on Hwy. 1, Ely, MN 55731

Location: Whitney City Park, Whitney, TX, 76692
Event Detail: 25th Annual Pioneer Days. First time rendezvous held at Whitney City Park. Free camping. Free trading. 1840 rules apply. Whitney is an hour south of Dallas. Half an hour north of Waco. Come on down and have some fun. Pioneer Days draws around 20000 public to the down town and the rendezvous is held 6 blocks away at the city park. Bring hawk and knives, kids and even the ole lady. It should be fun for all.

Location: Flint Hills Muzzleloading Range, Florence, KS
Event Detail: First Annual KTMA RENDEZVOUS. Shooting will start on Oct. 2 with rifle and pistol competion. There will be a pot luck supper with an auction and annual meeting to follow Shot gun will be on Oct. 3 with a cash entry and payback. The championship will be awarded Sun.at noon.
