Sep 6-8: Elk River Rendezvous
Location: Hillsboro, Missouri
Event Details: Gate opens Friday, Sep 6 at 8 a.m. for camp setup (primitive & modern) - no exceptions. $10 camp fee, traders welcome - pre-1840 setup. Primitive dress required after sundown in primitive camp. Registration opens 8:30 a.m. Saturday & Sunday. Rifle & bow shooting contests. No pets. No alcohol for anyone under 21.

Sep 7-8: 20th Annual Fort Hill Ramrods Rendezvous
Location: 6-1/2 miles on Bear Lake Road, Butternut, Wisconsin 54514
Event Details: Plenty of room for camping and parking. We provide wood, water, outhouses, shade, & in-camp raffle. Music in camp encouraged. Friday is Fifth Grade History Day.

Sep 21 & 22: Fort Belle Fontaine Historic Encampment and Black Powder Shoot
Location: On the banks of the Missouri River at the mouth of Coldwater Creek
Event Details: Visit the first American fort west of the Mississippi River and site of Lewis and Clark's final stop on their "Journey of Discovery.". Free to the Public. Camp opens to the Public at 10:00 a.m. with opening ceremonies at the Grand Staircase. Visit the Historical Encampment and Traders Row. Demonstrations in antique arts and crafts; Tomahawk and knife throws; Mountain man snacks and other food items. Setup begins noon the 20th / Camp fee $10.00 / Trader fee $15.00. All animals must be leashed.

Location: North Side of Village Creek, Silsbee, TX 77656, End of Old Hwy 96, Vicinity of Barry Sand Pits
Event Detail: This weekend will host 200-300 Boy Scouts & Leaders for an opportunity to relive the Great Trek of the Corps of Discovery. Scouts will experience wilderness life from pitching their own primitive shelters, cooking with cast iron, packing, portaging and paddling canoes, black powder shooting, hawk throwing, fire by flint and steel, overland treking by compass, and keeping a nature journal. All pre-1840 reenactors are welcome to come and add to the flavor of the weekend. Grand Camp Fire Celebration Saturday night. Camp sites available, traders are welcome. Reenactor camping fee $10, Trader fee $10. All animals must be leashed; water & firewood available; No Alcohol permitted.

Location: Lewis & Clark Community College, 5800 Godfrey Road (Route 67), Godfrey, IL
Event Detail: 9 am - 5 pm each day, rain or shine. Re-creation of period history, food, clothing, black powder shoot, primitive encampments, demonstrations, music, crafts and food.
