The Royal Rangers program is divided into eight geographic regions. The State of Oregon, along with Washington, Idaho, Montana and Alaska comprise the Trappers Territory. Oregon chose the name Hudson’s Bay Chapter because of the prominent role the Hudson’s Bay Company played in shaping this region.
