2019 Cowtown Civil War Days
A skirmish breaks out at Cowtown Civil War Days on April 27, 2019 at the Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, Kansas. Confederate troops will march into the south end of Cowtown on Saturday after their scouts spy Yankees in the area. Before the troops reach the center of town, sporadic sniper fire will come from the bushes and trees at the north end of town. Over the next 30 minutes, the sound of gunfire will echo through the streets of the Old Cowtown Museum as it kicks off the season with a re-enactment of a battle between Union and Confederate soldiers at Cowtown.
