[su_accordion][su_spoiler title=”Code of Conduct and Safety Guidelines”] The Liendo Plantation opens its gates each year to host a living history weekend (Liendo Plantation Civil War Weekend) for the enjoyment of reenactors and spectators alike. To maintain a safe environment and ensure that your weekend is as enjoyable as possible, we have a set of rules for participation. It is mandatory for ALL reenactors to read these rules, in their entirety, and comply to them while on Liendo property.

    1. ALL reenactors MUST stop at the registration tent to check in upon arrival.
    2. Beginning Friday morning, the main road is closed to vehicle traffic during spectator

hours (Fri 9-4, Sat 9-5, Sun 9-4). Access to Reenactor parking will be via Reenactor Road ONLY. In the event that Reenactor Rd. becomes impassable, an alternate plan will be implemented by event management.

  • Vehicles must be out of camps by 8am Friday morning and remain out of camps until the event closes at 4pm on Sunday. No moving vehicles into camp overnight, no loading up before the event closes on Sunday.
  • Any vehicle that gets stuck, contact event staff for assistance.
  • Restrooms will remain locked during spectator hours and open for reenactor use after hours. Although we are aware of the inconvenience of using portable restrooms for ladies in hoop skirts, we are on a septic system and our restrooms cannot handle the capacity of the spectators. Some special arrangements can be made with event staff for use of the restrooms during event hours. However, the restrooms in the Liendo home will NOT be available for use by spectators or reenactors.
  • Dogs are welcome at Liendo but, please, be considerate of your fellow reenactors. Manage your dog so as not to disturb others and always clean up after your dog.
  • There will be on site medics for injuries and illnesses. Please use them and heed their suggestions. Any injuries shall be reported to the reenactor coordinator and the event coordinator. No exceptions.
  • Reenactors are forbidden to enter the pyrotechnical area on the battlefield. This area will be clearly marked to avoid any confusion.
  • Mounted units must assure that their riders are competent and capable of handling their horses.
  • No horses on Sutler Row.
  • Any horse brought to the Liendo Plantation Civil War Weekend MUST provide proof of a current Coggins test.

[su_accordion][su_spoiler title=”Read Vendor Details”] Sutler Row
If you don’t know what a sutler is then you probably aren’t one. For the true Sutlers out there, Liendo draws many reenactors every year and makes an ideal place to set up shop and sell reenacting gear and souvenirs. Our Sutler spaces have flexible sizing but pre-registration is necessary for proper space planning. All Sutlers must maintain a period correct appearance throughout the event. Sutler Application

The Food Court
Like any full day event, Civil War Weekend has its fair share of hungry spectators. We have set up a dedicated “food court” area to provide those spectators with a nice selection of foods and a place to stop and rest. Food vendor spaces are limited and duplication is restricted so get your applications in early to receive a space. Spaces are 10X20 and include electricity. Food Vendor Application

Modern Vendors
Our modern vendor area is for crafts, souvenirs, books, gifts and much more! This area is set up directly across from the food court and before entering the immersion area of the event. 15X15 spaces, both with or without electricity are available. Modern Vendor Application

Vendor Details
Civil War Weekend will provide space only. Exhibitors/Vendors are required to provide their own tents, displays, tables, chairs, etc… Rental of a booth space is per weekend and cost will vary depending on size and requested amenities. Electricity and water access are available, but limited, so early application is important for vendors who require these amenities.[/su_spoiler][/su_accordion]
