2019 Native Rhythms Festival
The 11th Annual Native Rhythms Festival on November 8-10, 2019 will be held at the Wickham Park amphitheater in Melbourne, Florida. The event is hosted in celebration of Native American Heritage Month by the Native Heritage Gathering, Inc., the Indian River Flute Circle and the Native Rhythms Festival Committee. Thursday is a setup day, with vendor check-in between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Over 40 vendors, cultural displays, exhibitors and workshops compliment a full stage program of award winning musicians and the current World Champion Hoop Dancer, Cody Boettner. Fun for the entire family come on down to the Native Rhythms Festival!
Native Rhythms Festival
Multiple award-winning musicians from all over the United States will be on stage throughout the weekend. There will be competitions for flute-playing, flute-making, and art creation. This family-friendly festival will also host a wide variety of free workshops that focus on flute, percussion and other instrument playing, technical and collaborative techniques, crafting and art training, and much more. Extended workshops for advanced flute and percussion students will also be offered for a fee. In addition, vendors will sell musical instruments, Native-style and environmental arts & crafts and food. Presentations and displays by a variety of non-profit historical preservation and ecological groups, along with story-telling during the music performances, will round out the educational experiences. We also welcome children from local public and home-schools to attend our free Kids-Day program.

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Festival Location & Accommodations
The Native Rhythms Festival will be held at Wickham Park, 2500 Parkway Dr, Melbourne, FL 32935. This beautifully wooded park has free admission and ample free parking. The Wickham Park Campground is adjacent to the event area and offers campsites with full hookups as well as rustic sites. Motels and restaurants are close by, and we have arranged for discounted accommodations for event visitors.
The festival is intended and designed to be family-friendly and appropriate to all ages. It is an alcohol-free event. This is the largest free Native music-related festival in the country.

Native Rhythms Festival Headline Performers
Festival weekend will feature a continuous flow of top flight entertainment coming from the amphitheater stage. We are proud to present our program of “headline” performers. As in the past, our “headline” performers include GRAMMY, NAMMY (Native American Music Award), and ISMA (Indian Summer Music Award) winners and nominees. They are supported by outstanding “featured” performers to fill out our on-stage program.
