The 14th Annual Santa Fe Days in the Park will be held on March 17-18, 2018 at the Sandy Lake Amusement Park in Carrollton, Texas. This event is an exciting Native American Indian festivity sponsored by the Indigenous Institute of the Americas. Santa Fe Days in the Park is a family friendly, nonprofit event which celebrates Native American Indian culture, heritage, dance, music, arts and food. Postponed until 2020.

Santa Fe Days in the Park

The event brings Native American Indian Women and Men to the DFW area who have many generations of artists in their family and Tribes. Their knowledge as Native American Artists and Native American Art is very valuable in this day of copycats, look a likes, etc. that violate the Arts and Crafts act.

Santa Fe Days in the Park has developed into a premiere Native American Indian cultural event attracting visitors from the Dallas and Ft. Worth area as well as visitors from across the Nation. Among the participants are representation from many Nations and Pueblos across the Americas. This is currently one of the few events that requires proof of Tribal enrollment in a Federally or State recognized Tribes that meet the criteria for a the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990.

Admission $2.00 per person – Free Parking

Admission proceeds offset the cost of this wonderful Sandy Lake Amusement Park venue and all the amenities they provide the organization.

The Indigenous Institute of the Americas is concerned with preserving the valuable knowledge of all the Indigenous people of the Americas. Beginning 2014, The Indigenous Institute of the Americas (IIA) has been the organization with oversight of the event.
