Our Custom Hunting Pouch - Single Heart Flap with Gusset, is one of the finest, hand-crafted possibles bags that we've seen and we're proud to offer them as one-of-a-kind pieces available exclusively through our website.
Made by a highly experienced craftsman, they are finely constructed made using fine, vegetable tanned cowhide that is supple and softened after custom dying. Based on originals in Madison Grant's book, "Kentucky Rifle Hunting Pouches", they are period correct, featuring hand-sewn seams using heavy linen thread, full gussets with welts, decorative cut-outs and bound flaps with scalloped trim along the top edge. The fully adjustable straps are 7/8" wide, made of vegetable tanned leather with hand-forged iron buckles and double incised borders.
Heart-shaped cut-outs are backed with contrasting colored leather and each bag includes an inside pocket for small accouterments. They are the perfect size for most any hunt, measuring approximately 8" x 8".
Single Heart Medium Pouch - This pouch has a classic style flap with a single, heart-shaped cutout that is backed with red-dyed leather.
