Today, part of the river has been dammed to create Bighorn Lake, but the spectacular canyon it carved remains. Located in Montana and Wyoming. The Bighorn Canyon National Recreaction Area is home to bighorn sheep that track their way to water down rocky, treacherous canyon paths.
