DESCRIPTION:2019 Radford Native American Heritage Festival\n\nRate This Event\n \n                                    \n                                        \n                                        \n                                        \n                                        \n                                    \nBe here for the 9th Annual Radford Native American Heritage Festival on April 13th\, 2019 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Bisset Park in Radford\, Virginia. The Radford Native American Heritage Festival begins at noon with a grand entry procession of many tribal affiliations\, head dancers\, elders and children. The Master of Ceremonies will direct the activities in the dance arena and will explain the symbolism\, protocol and spiritual meanings of the dances\, regalia and drums to the spectators. \n\nRadford Native American Heritage Festival\nEnjoy the sights and sounds of Radford Native American Heritage Festival: Native American dancing\, crafts\, storyteller and food\, along the banks of the beautiful New River in Radford\, Virginia. Traditional traders and crafters will be on hand with authentic arts and crafts reflecting the cultural heritage of the different tribes of Virginia\, North Carolina and Maryland. \nThe festival will be held rain or shine\, and attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
