The event\, also known as the SKC Powwow\, spans three dance sessions in two days\, Friday and Saturday. SKC Powwow events include a Miss SKC Pageant\, a graduate honor ceremony and intertribal dancing. Grand Entries start each session\, beginning at 7 p.m.\, Friday night and continuing Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Joe McDonald Health and Fitness Center. \n\nSalish Kootenai College Powwow and Graduate Honoring\nContest dancing is slated to begin Friday and includes Junior\, Teen and Adult categories\, as well as Golden Age. Drum pay is tentatively set for the first 10 registered drums\, with dance specials to be announced. There will be concessions\, vendors and raffles with all proceeds going to helping with the Salish Kootenai College Powwow and Graduate Honoring.
