Learn to write with quill and ink\, throw a tomahawk\, listen to period musik\, view black powder firearms demonstrations\, sample early American cuisine\, shop in a Colonial store\, and much more! \n \nHours:  10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. \nAdmission (Public Welcome):\n$10.00 Adults\n$7.00 Children 6-16\nFree for Participants\, Military\, First Responders\, Teachers w/ID\, Children under 6\nBuy tickets online \nCamping: Primitive camping is available with cold showers wood and water. \nHands-On Activities & Demonstrations\nLearn to write with a feather quill\, make an authentic Native American necklace\, throw a tomahawk\, dress the children in colonial clothing and enlist them in the militia. Watch as reenactors portray various aspects of daily colonial life and demonstrate a variety of handiworks of the era. Be sure to pick up some souvenirs in our unique colonial store or from one of our guest sutlers (merchants) before you head out! \n \nMusik & Entertainment\nChildren's Militia will take part in a parade and trooping of the colors at 12:00 pm. Musket and cannon demonstrations will occur every hour. A skirmish (battle) will take place at 2:30 PM provided enough participants. \nFood & Drink\nHoppin' John  will be on sale from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the general public. \nReenactors\, living historians and demonstrators of the 18th century are welcomed. \nPlease register online. Traders and spectators are welcome. Bring the whole family\, there is something for everyone at our good old time rendezvous. The Wenaha Muzzleloaders Rendezvous is nestled on Griz Flat at the confluence of the Grande Ronde and Wenaha Rivers\, a beautiful setting for three days of Family Friendly Fun! Griz Flats is right next to beautiful Troy\, Oregon\, remote and in the far northeastern corner of Oregon. \nWe shoot round ball only and traditional bows. All scores are to be turned in by 6:00 P.M. Saturday night. There are no dumsters so you pack it in\, you pack it out. No potable water on site but outhouses available. A limited supply f firewood is available. At the Brunswick Stew and French and Indian War Soldiers Muster Historical\, Chef Joseph Haines will prepare and discuss Brunswick Stew and Early Virginia specialty! Provincials\, French\, Indians and Rangers welcome! \n \nThe Virginia Regiment\, Capt.George Mercer’s Company\, in concert with Abrams Delight will muster at the site on Saturday and will camp overnight. French Forces are invited if in the Colony at the time. As this is “The Brunswick Stew” event we will be an adjunct of the Winchester Frederick County Historical Society\, and will interpret the life and times of the Provincial Forces that defended the Colony on the Virginia Frontier.
