SUMMARY:Powwow for Hope
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the 6th Annual Powwow for Hope on May 6\, 2017 at Base Camp near Fort Snelling in Minneapolis\, Minnesota. You are invited to celebrate “Dancing for Life\, Love & Hope” at the Annual Powwow for Hope. Powwow for Hope is a community event and fundraiser for American Indian Cancer Foundation (AICAF). It is an opportunity for you to offer your love and support to the cancer survivors and caregivers in our community\, to honor loved ones who have passed on\, and to learn more about cancer prevention and resources. \n[embedyt] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSgtsSpLZiY&width=540&height=333&centervid=1[/embedyt] \nEveryone’s help is needed to address the cancer burdens faced by many American Indian families throughout Indian Country. We hope that you will organize or join a team. Teams will raise funds in many different ways before\, during and after Powwow for Hope. All money raised will be used to support cancer education and supportive services for American Indians. \nAICAF Fundraiser Powwow\nPowwow for Hope is an annual fundraiser for the American Indian Cancer Foundation (AICAF). With your help\, AICAF is fighting for every person and every family threatened by cancer in every reservation\, town and city across Indian Country. Each person who shares in Powwow for Hope can take pride in knowing that they are working to create a world where cancer no longer threatens the lives of our loved ones or claims another year of anyone’s life. \n \nOpen to the Public!
