Dressed in their fanciest regalia\, dancers from as far as Canada will hit the floor to celebrate the holiday season in traditional fashion. Drumbeats from several circles will echo throughout the gymnasium. The is the ultimate family friendly event with free dinner\, cake walks\, and great singing and dancing. \nThe Tulalip Tribes and Marysville School District combine to sponsor the annual Tulalip Tribes and Marysville School District Christmas Pow Wow. The night at the Marysville Tulalip Campus is filled with plains-style powwow singing and dancing\, vendors selling art and other items\, free food\, presents for children from Toys for Tots and pictures with Santa Claus. The event is meant to provide a good community get-together before local students head to break. \nThe Marysville School District’s Indian Education Department teams up with Tulalip Youth Services to provide something good and positive culturally for the kids before their break from school.
