Join us at the Kansas-Nebraska Rendezvous on April 20-22, 2018 at Corndodger Station, 7.5 miles west of Frankfort, Kansas. Bring your rifle, pistol, smoothbores, bow, hawk, knife and whatever else you may want to use for competing at the Kansas-Nebraska Rendezvous. The Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders, host of the Kansas-Nebraska Rendezvous this year invite you to come keep the tradition alive, and to shoot to support your states’ honor!.<\/p>\n

Pot luck supper<\/strong> will be provided Saturday night (meat will be supplied). Bring a dish. Assembly and auction will follow the meal.<\/p>\n

Camp Fee (includes event fees)<\/strong>
\n* One registered shooter per camp is required.
\n* $20.00 Single; $30.00 Family
\n* Plenty of wood is available.
\n* Fire bucket required in all camps.
\n* Clean outhouses are on site.
\n* Primitive and modern camps available.
\n* Keep ‘non-period’ items covered in Primitive Camp.
\n* ‘Quiet Camp’ is available for old timers.
\n* No loaded guns are allowed in camp.<\/p>\n

Corndodger Station is the club site of Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders and is the home of the biggest and best 3-day rendezvous in the state of Kansas. Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders, Inc. was founded in 1980 and has developed one of the nicest camp sites in the region.<\/p>\n

[su_accordion][su_spoiler title=”Read More about Corn Dodger Stadium”] Corndodger Station is a privatly owned multi use shooting \/ camping \/ riding facility carved out of the Kansas Flint Hills. Our facility is divided into 2 specific range areas. One is a premier primitive camping and muzzleloading range. While the other is a modern shooting range complete with club house, pistol bays and a 400 yard rifle range. Both are home to a number of shooting events and maintained by area shooting clubs.<\/p>\n

In the winter of 1996 a small group of guys from Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders cleared out a rough piece of ground along Corndodger Creek to hold the 16th Annual Frozen Butt Rendezvous. Since then this chunk of ground has grown into one of the nicest camp sites in the region and home to the biggest rendezvous in the State of Kansas. Add this growth in popularity with its ‘Pre-1840 Fur Trade” historical value and the site began to take on an identity of its own. The site is now known as “Corndodger Station”.<\/p>\n

Black Jack Creek Muzzleloading holds the lease to the site and in conjunction with Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders Inc. they have developed it into something special. Their goal was simple, create the nicest muzzleloading facility in the Midwest while maintaining a period correct atmosphere. It is also the venue of the 2018\u00a0High Plains Regional Rendezvous.

Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders are located in the heart of the Flint Hills near Manhattan Kansas. The club was organized in the spring of 1978 and officially became an N.R.A. sanctioned shooting club in the winter of that year. In January of 1999, after 20 plus years as Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders, the club incorporated to become Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders Inc. The club’s main goal is to promote the sport of muzzleloading and to preserve our American heritage. They provide black powder shooters and others with an interest in the pre-1840 lifestyle a place to gather for friendly competitive shooting and good conversation.<\/p>\n

[su_accordion][su_spoiler title=”Read More”]\nThe club holds a monthly shoot on the second Sunday of each month at the monthly range near Manhattan Kansas. We also hold several special events, including our Muzzleloading Shooting Sports Camp, and the well known “Frozen Butt” Rendezvous at the clubs main range, The Corndodger Station, near Frankfort Kansas.<\/p>\n

We believe that to get people to come and attend your event you need to go and support theirs. Using this philosophy over the years has made us one of the most widely recognized clubs in the area. The members of Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders attend at least 9 or 10 area rendezvous a year. When they attend a rendezvous they typically bring 15 to 20 shooters and 10 to 12 camps. This level of participation has been the inspiration behind the organization of several new muzzleloading clubs. Kaw Valley is proud to have been able to help get them started in the right direction. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.<\/p>\n

As a club aimed at having fun while promoting our beloved sport of muzzleloading, Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders has always tried to be somewhat different. We pride ourselves on coming up with new and innovative ways to add life to the sport. The addition of moving targets, pop up targets, well-hidden targets, and just plain difficult targets should always be expected at a Kaw Valley event. This philosophy adds an element of challenge and excitement to all of our shoots. It has also made us the topic of conversation around many a campfire. Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders wouldn’t have it any other way.[\/su_spoiler][\/su_accordion]<\/p>\n<\/div>
