Don’t miss the 57th Annual Fort Michilimackinac Reenactment Pageant on May 25-27, 2019 at historic Fort Michilimackinac in Mackinaw City, Michigan. The Fort Michilimackinac Reenactment Pageant is a reenactment of the events that took place at Fort Michilimackinac with a story that begins with friendship, respect and cooperative trading between the Native Americans, French and the Voyageurs and Traders. Following the French and Indian War, the Fort comes under the rule of the British, who treat the Native Americans as servants. The great Ottawa Chief Pontiac calls for a war council and devises a blueprint to decimate the British, which includes the playing of an innocent baggataway game. Will Chief Pontiac’s plan succeed?
