All are welcome to the 12th Annual For the People Pow Wow on May 25-26, 2019 at the Jefferson City Jaycees Fairgrounds in Jefferson City, Missouri. The For the People Pow Wow features gourd dancing, intertribal dancing, tribal singing and vendors with products made by Native Americans. Inside the pavilion, dancers in native dress will take part in gourd dancing at noon on both Saturday and Sunday, and before the main Saturday evening dance session and Grand Entry.<\/p>\n

A Grand Entry, followed by intertribal dancing will take place following each session of gourd dancing on both Saturday and Sunday. If you are a visitor, be sure to pay attention the Master of Ceremonies, whose job is to keep dancers, singers, and visitors both informed and entertained. The For the People Pow Wow is sponsored by The Society for the Preservation of Traditional Values and the Jefferson City Jaycees.<\/p>\n

Seating is limited, so bring your own chairs. Our For the People Pow Wow is family friendly, so bring everyone. Not Responsible for Accidents, Theft or Damage of any kind – and absolutely NO Guns, NO Alcohol, and NO Drugs allowed!<\/p>\n

Admission:<\/strong> Adults: $3; School Age: $1; Elders & Preschool: Free<\/p>\n

Camping:<\/strong> $10.00 per family camp for the weekend<\/p>\n
