Experience living history at the 18th Annual Battle of Newton Civil War Reenactment on October 6-7, 2018 at John Hutton Park in Newton, Alabama. The roar of cannons will tear the silence of an afternoon in central Dale County as Civil War reenactors gather at John Hutto Park for a recreation of the Battle of Newton. The muskets will be filled with only powder, but the passion of participants relives a piece of history from the Civil War in March 1865. The annual Battle of Newton Civil War Reenactment is sponsored by The Battle of Newton Society, Inc.<\/p>\n
