Join us at the Wapiti Historic Rendezvous on September 20-22, 2019 in Nowthen, Minnesota this fall and travel back in time. Smell the campfires, visit with the trapper, watch the spinner work her magic with wool and textiles, see mountain men start fires without matches, make your own candle with beeswax, feel the hides and furs that were used for clothes, drop in on the ropemaker. Experience what life was like in the early 1800s.<\/p>\n

Come and see demonstrations all weekend. Watch the blackpowder, tomahawk and archery competitions taking place on Saturday and Sunday. There will be traders plying their wards and food vendors for lunch or snacks.<\/p>\n
