Start your new year right at the 67th Annual 2020 OKC Pow Wow Club New Years Dance on January 11, 2020 at the Bridgestone Intermediate School Gym in OKC, Oklahoma. The Annual New Years Dance returns to Oklahoma City where one of Oklahoma’s oldest Intertribal Native Heritage Organizations, The Oklahoma City Pow Wow Club New Years Dance Co-hosts are the Tulsa Indian Club and the Western Heights Indian Education Program.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participant and visitors will enjoy contest and intertribal dancing, raffles, cake walks and arts and crafts booths. This is a family friendly event and great way to ring in the year. Please bring your used coats and winter items to donate to keep our elders warm.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Years Dance Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – 5 p.m. Gourd Dance<\/span>
\n5 – 6 p.m. Supper will be served<\/span>
\n5:30 – 7 p.m. Registration<\/span>
\n6:00 p.m. – Gourd Dance<\/span>
\n7:15 p.m. Grand Entry – Contests (correct as written)<\/span>
\n11:00 pm Closing<\/span><\/p>\n

ALL GOURD DANCERS: OKCPWC<\/b> respectfully asks that all gourd dancers adhere to Kiowa Gourd Clan attire: ribbon shirt or long-sleeve dress shirt, dress pants (no jeans) & dress shoes. No hats except otter, please.<\/p>\n

Specials must be done before supper!<\/u><\/b> Head Staff specials are first priority. Specials to be confirmed with Club Secretary.<\/p>\n
