The Battle of Hucks Defeat Reenactment on July 15-16, 2019 at Historic Brattonsville in McConnells, South Carolina, is an annual event that draws around 15,000 people. This two-day educational and entertaining event is family-friendly. In addition to three battle reenactments, activities include 18th-century music and dancing, cavalry weapons demonstrations, a uniform lecture, kid\u2019s militia drill, the Sons of the American Revolution presentation of a memorial wreath-laying ceremony, and an 18th-century worship service on Sunday at 11:00 AM in the Oak Grove. Join us as reenactors recreate these battle activities and more during the annual Battle of Hucks Defeat Reenactment weekend.<\/p>\n
