The 35th Annual CNIA Powwow will be held on April 13, 2019 at the Regional Fitness Center at the University of Minnesota, Morris in Morris, Minnesota. The CNIA Powwow (Circle of Nations Indigenous Association Powwow) is a one-day cultural celebration is the commencing event of the annual World Touch Cultural Heritage Week. The CNIA Powwow introduces the Morris campus and community to a contest-style powwow and celebrates the social and cultural ties American Indian students have with Native communities in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The CNIA Powwow features hundreds of American Indian dancers and singers. This intertribal event is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
