All are welcome at the 23rd Annual Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Pow Wow (Jiingtamok) on June 29-30, 2019 at the Tribal Gathering Grounds in Manistee, Michigan. Almost every native community in this part of the North America has a gathering once a year which is known by most as pow wow. This is a time when we come together to dance and to sing. It is a social event practiced by the Anishinaabe people. Sometimes dancers and singers travel for many days to attend Jiingtamok. Sometimes this is the only time that some families and friends see one another. We really do not know how old this celebration is, but we look forward to it every year at the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians Pow Wow.<\/p>\n
