Participants must be dress in pre-1850 attire. \u00a0The rendezvous is NOT open to the general public.<\/p>\n<p>Howell&#8217;s Encampment Rendezvous is an<strong> invitational pre-1850 event<\/strong>, requiring period attire and camp. Therefore, please do not post this page or info without permission from the event organizers. We provide the historical site, some firewood and the hooters. Ice is available in nearby Rockvale or Laurel. We look forward to rendezvousing with you!<\/p>\n<p>All paid participants\/campers are encouraged to have a trade blanket\/tent at no extra charge. You MUST pay camp fee to trade. At about 12 miles you come to Rockvale. Turn left directly across the highway from the Exxon onto Grapevine Road. This is just before Hwy 310 goes left toward Bridger.<\/p>\n<p>On Grapevine Road, go about 1-1\/2 miles to Gibson Road. Turn right, cross Rock Creek and go about \u00bc mile to Emergency Locator address 130 Gibson Road. Turn left into the property by the barn and carefully cross the RR tracks.
