Visit over 15 living history encampments demonstrating life during California\u2019s turn-of-the-twentieth-century and civil war eras. Meet real cowboys, pioneers, mountain men and women, fur traders, gunslingers, and soldiers. For those seeking more exciting fare, there will be Gatling gun and cannon demonstrations performed throughout the Rendezvous in Poway event.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pan for Gold<\/strong><br \/>\nYou can also try your hand at panning for gold at Rendezvous in Poway, but watch out for train robbers! Words out that The Apache Canyon Gang and the Shadow River Regulators will be lurking around the train to steal your hard-earned gold and cause general old-West mayhem (and fun).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poway Arts and Crafts Guild Sale<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Poway Arts and Crafts Guild will also be holding a sale of their goods during Rendezvous in Poway. The Hamburger Factory will be open for business, so come hungry.<\/p>\n<p>The Nelson House and the historical museum will also be open during the Rendezvous in Poway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dress to Impress!<\/strong><br \/>\nVisitors are encouraged to come to Rendezvous in 19th century period costume and join in the fun.
