In Colonial times, Presentation Tomahawks and Pipe Axes featured fine quality curly maple hafts. Both the heads and handles were often produced with inlays and engraving by gunsmiths, the same artisans who created the better rifles of the period.

Each blank is 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" x 19-1/2" long.
