2019 Battle for Old Mill Station Civil War Reenactment
Relive history at the Battle for Old Mill Station Civil War Reenactment on February 2-3, 2019 at The Mountain & Old Mill Marketplace in Canton, Texas. On First Monday Trade Days in February, The Mountain & Old Mill Marketplace, in conjunction with the 9th Texas Infantry, one of the oldest Civil War reenactment units in Texas, presents a weekend of Civil War Reenactments along with a living history which will include a civilian camp, artisans, a sutlers tent and several historical displays.
Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. we will host a Civil War era Ball at Barbie’s Playhouse stage. The main battle reenactments will take place behind the pavilions on Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and will have a $10.00 entry fee with children 5 and under free. If you book overnight accommodations on The Mountain for the weekend you will have free entry to the battles for the entire family. Ask your host for your wristbands upon check-in. Bring your own chair as seating will be limited.
Shop our unique stores set in an Old West setting on The Mountain and browse thru the Pavilions for flea market treasures. Eat at your choice of various cafes, restaurants and food courts. Enjoy an Old West gunfight portrayed by The Mountains own Texicans at various show times Saturday and Sunday.
