Club members all have an interest in history, particularly the period from 1760 to 1840. If you want to learn about how early Americans fur trappers and traders lived and even how to throw a ‘hawk or shoot blackpowder, this is the place to do it.

The club also wants to share the old ways with the during the two-day event, club members will dress, camp and live as much like the pre-1840s mountain men as they can. Dozens of vendors selling primitive wares along with demonstrations on blacksmithing, gun building and making knives are also a big part of the weekend event.

Separate camps are available for those reenacting the pre-1840s frontier life and those staying in modern camps.
