2019 Heritage Village Museum Civil War Weekend
Cannons and muskets roar at the annual Heritage Village Museum Civil War Weekend on May 18-19, 2019 at the Heritage Village Museum in Sharon Woods Park in Sharonville, Ohio. The Civil War Weekend at Heritage Village Museum brings over hundreds of reenactor soldiers, citizens, and cavalry to Sharon Woods Park, all in Civil War period uniforms and clothing to tell the dramatic story of the mid 1800s and the devastating American Civil War.
Heritage Village Museum Civil War Weekend
Visitors can tour the encampments to learn about camp and village life as it was during the war years. Cavalry, artillery, infantry, and civilians from both sides of the conflict will be on hand to tell the story. Abraham Lincoln will be in prominent view talking about the struggle with slavery, states rights, and the many battles of the war.
Battle Reenactments
On Saturday and Sunday at 2:00pm re-enactors of both the Union Troops and the Confederate Troops will perform a mock battle with cavalry, cannons, and infantry.
Tour Heritage Village Museum
See living history scenarios in our 19th-century buildings, and participate in hands-on activities. There is ample parking, concession stand will be available, all historic houses will be open.

Directions & Parking
Heritage Village Museum is inside Sharon Woods Park (although the village is not part of the park). The park may charge a parking fee to visitors without a Great Parks sticker. The one-day parking rate is $3 for Hamilton County residents and $5 for non-residents.

About Heritage Village
Heritage Village Museum is a living history museum depicting life in Southwestern Ohio through-out the 19th Century. Homes, out-buildings and equipment on the museum grounds were moved here from other locations in the region to be preserved and aid in telling the story of our recent past. Interpreters at the museum provide the facts and stories that bring the Village to life with nostalgic glances of days gone by.
