2019 Hunters Widows Rendezvous
Join us for the 16th Annual Hunters Widows Rendezvous on September 13-15, 2019 at Fort Lupton Historic Site in Fort Lupton, Colorado. The Hunters Widows Rendezvous is hosted by the Tallow River Trapper, and is held on the weekend after the Trapper Days Rendezvous at Fort Lupton. It is an event for women and children of men who have gone hunting. Early Set-up is during camp dates of Trapper Days Rendezvous. Men in dresses are welcome (Kilts do NOT count)!
Camp fee: $25.00 per adult, $15.00 per Teen (13-16), under 13 by donation. Modern Camps welcome – no hook-ups.
Day fee: $15.00 per adult, $10.00 per Teen, under 13 by donation (Additional cost for Raffle, Medallions and Contests)
Traders Fee: Free
Prizes: We are requesting period appropriate donations for the prize tent.
Raffle: The raffle is a always popular; we have had some great raffle items. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and will be available throughout the Rendezvous season!
Cocktail Party & Gift Exchange: Friday 7:30 p.m. Prize for best cocktail concoction. Bring your favorite cocktails and cordials to share and a wrapped gift ($10 value). Kids gift exchange first (gender neutral gifts please) followed by the ladies’ gift exchange.
Girly Camp Review: Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Prizes for best theme (theme TBA). Best traditional/primitive camp, annual Amy Spry Award (Wseet & Simple Camp). Submit your votes by 4:00 p.m. Ballot forms at Registration.
Light Luncheon, Costume & Dessert Contest: Saturday 12:00 p.m. – 2 p.m. Theme to be announced. Please participate! Helping with decorating, water retrieval, dishes, hooter decorating & organizing or cooking meals is fun! Period clothing is requested. Pets on leashes. Desserts can be made at home.
Rendezvous Helpful Info:
All fires must be above ground. Fire Pits on site.
Water Available. Pack your Trash.
Bring one or more of your favorite recipes.

8:00 a.m. Breakfast in Camp – After breakfast tear down party – men are welcome! Please help the Royals break down the common areas.
