Experience the pre-1840s fur trade era at the 43rd Annual Eastern Primitive Rendezvous on September 20-28, 2019 at Hotchkiss Family Farm in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania. The blast of a Muzzleloader, the aroma of stew cooking over a campfire and folks who look like they stepped out of a history book will be greeting visitors to this years NRLHF Eastern Primitive Rendezvous. This event is a week long reenactment of a rendezvous, where fur trappers, long hunters, American Indians and frontier families gather to experience the way people lived in the 17th and early 18th centuries. Sutlers will be selling a variety of supplies. Sponsored by the National Rendezvous and Living History Foundation, the Eastern location changes annually so the foundation encourages people to take advantage of the opportunity to visit.
