Join us for the 10th Annual Sacred Visions Powwow on on May 25-27, 2018 at the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation in Wadsworth, Nevada. Native American culture will be celebrated as families and individuals representing Tribal Communities from across the United States will participate for cash prizes in the Sacred Visions Powwow.

Sacred Visions Powwow

Authentic Native American food, dancing, arts and crafts vendors and traditional performing arts will all be on hand for all to enjoy. Admission to the Sacred Visions Powwow is free and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy this cultural experience.

– BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS Cameras and video cameras are allowed for personal use only. Just listen to the MC, he will advise you when NOT to photograph. If you want to take pictures of any dancers, PLEASE be sure to ask their permission first.
– There is special seating for Seniors / Elders and handicapped in the designated area around the arbor.
– Please NO DOGS or PETS allowed onto the powwow grounds. Exceptions are made for Guide Dogs for the blind.

Powwow Dance Contest – Tiny Tots to Golden Age, Traditional Paiute Buckskin Contest, Hand Game Tournament, Mens Fancy Dance Special, Native Food, Arts & Crafts Vendors

We welcome all Dancers and Singers to come out and enjoy our powwow. With over 260 registered dancers every year from all over the United States, we have categories from Tiny Tots to Golden Age Men and Women. “Bringing the People Home” was our goal and we hope to continue to do so in the years to come.

VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS
Booth Set Up Vendors may set up booths Friday July 22 at 9 a.m.
NO vehicles are to be parked at booth space, only to drop & set up. Specify if you are using a trailer for your booth.

About the Sacred Visions Powwow
In 2009 the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe and the Sacred Visions PowWow Committee held the First Annual Sacred Visions PowWow. The objective of committee was to attract out-of-state participants and spectators to the event, and in turn, create a positive economic impact for the economies of Northern Nevada and the Tribe. The Annual Sacred Visions Powwow attracts over 3,000 people from all across the Western United States and helps support the local economies of Pyramid Lake and Northern Nevada. In 2018, the powwow dates were changed from July to the Memorial Day Weekend.

The Sacred Visions Powwow is an alcohol and drug-free event. The Sacred Visions Powwow committee is not responsible for travel expenses, accidents, theft, or any circumstances beyond the reasonable control ofthe Sacred Visions Powwow Committee.
