All are welcome to the annual Yellowbrook New Years Sobriety Pow Wow on December 28, 2018 at the Mission Longhouse in Pendleton, Oregon. Sponsored by the New Beginnings Coalition along with the Yellowhawk Tribal Health A&D Prevention and Suicide Prevention Programs, the powwow is presented to offer a healthy, family-friendly way to ring in the New Year.

8:00 p.m. Drumming, Dancing, Games

Featuring a special prayer to Standing Rock, Sobriety Countdown, Owl Dance, Circle Dance, Kid’s Candy-Filled Pinata, and more!

Games: Sweep your Tipi, NDN Pictionary, As he Rez Turns, and Tissue Box Chicken Dance.

Contests: Makeshift Regalia, and Serenade (Hand Drum)
