2018 LLTC Resting Powwow (Anwebiwin Niimi idiwin)
All are welcome at the LLTC Resting Powwow (Anwebiwin Niimi idiwin) on May 19, 2018 at the Cass Lake Bena High School in Cass Lake, Minnesota. Experience Native American culture through dancing, singing, drumming, crafts and regalia. Admission is free and we’re a family friendly event so bring everyone. Leech Lake Tribal College Traditional Powwow activities begin with the Grand Entry on Saturday at 1:00 pm. All dancers must be in full regalia to participate.
LLTC Resting Powwow (Anwebiwin Niimi idiwin)
The Saturday afternoon LLTC Traditional Powwow Grand Entry will be followed by intertribal dancing. There will be a 5:00 pm dinner break (meal provided). Dinner will be followed at 6:30 pm by the evening dance session Grand Entry. There will be an afternoon dance on Sunday, with Grand Entry scheduled for 1:30 pm.
FREE ADMISSION – EVERYONE WELCOME!
First 15 Drums to Register. Must have 5+ singers.
Dancers must be in full regalia.
