All are welcome at the 15th Annual Wiconi Living Waters Pow Wow, also known as the Richard Twiss Memorial Powwow, on July 25-28, 2019 at the Aldersgate Conference Grounds in Turner, Oregon. The Wiconi Living Waters Pow Wow is a relaxed family and community oriented non-competition powwow held each year to honor and celebrate the best of native people and culture. All dancers and drums are welcome. The Wiconi Living Waters Pow Wow is a public celebration and all are welcome. Bring your lawn chairs and all ages are welcome. There is no cost for the event and the community meal is free.

The aim of Wiconi International, host of the annual Wiconi Living Waters Pow Wow on the last Saturday in July, is to provide education, encouragement and offer practical support to Native American families and communities in creating a preferred future. Historically, Native people have been underrepresented and underserved in mainstream America. Economic, cultural and social barriers continually limit access to viable resources, thus hindering many healthy community change efforts. Wiconi’s primary mission is to empower and serve Native people to experience a desired quality of life and a hope-filled future through authentic relationships and culturally supportive programs.
