Red Eagle Village Pow Wow - Heritage Park in McDonald Pennslyvania
The Red Eagle Village Pow Wow includes a grand entry by the dancers at noon daily, and a live auction of items donated by Native American artisans and crafters at 2 p.m. There will be a candy dance for children.

It also includes Native American vendors, handmade native items, crafts and food. The powwow hosts vendors offering a variety of artwork and powwow-related merchandise, such as jewelry and regalia.

During the event, a storyteller will share traditional American Indian stories and myths and talk about various aspects of American Indian history and spirituality, including some of the symbolism used in the dance circle and the dancing and drumming.

One of the group’s missions is to educate people about the Native American culture. Those attending the powwow should feel comfortable approaching dancers and other American Indians and asking about their culture, dance regalia and artwork, because the purpose of the powwow is to share information about American Indian culture. However, those attending the powwow are asked not to photograph the dancers or anyone in regalia unless they ask permission first.
