2019 Healing of the Nations Traditional Pow Wow
Everyone is welcome at the 8th Annual Healing of the Nations Traditional Pow Wow on June 22-23, 2019 at the Monroe County Community College in Monroe, Michigan. Come and experience the the sights, sounds and smells of the powwow by participating or watching Native American dance, food, music, arts and crafts, jewelry, and more! The Healing of the Nations Traditional Powwow celebration will be held by the Turtle Island Dream Keepers inside the “H” building at the Monroe County Community College. Weather permitting, it could be held outside on the grounds.
Healing of the Nations Traditional Powwow
Thousands of people are expected to participate in or visit the Healing of the Nations Traditional Powwow over the two day event. Pow wows such as this have a long history and are rich in tradition, involving feasting, drumming & singing, and traditional dancing. The Healing of the Nations Traditional Pow Wow is a family friendly event, so bring everyone. No Alcohol, No Drugs, No weapons, No politics!
