2019 Cantigny Revolutionary War Reenactment
Colonial history comes alive at the Cantigny Revolutionary War Reenactment on September 7-8, 2019 at Cantigny Park in Wheaton, Illinois. Produced by the North West Territory Alliance, the free and historically accurate spectacle has been held every year at Cantigny since 1987. Cantigny Revolutionary War Reenactment is among the park’s most popular events.
Cantigny Revolutionary War Reenactment
More than 400 Revolutionary War living history actors will be on site, many of whom will pitch tents and camp on the grounds. Visitors are invited to stroll through the authentic encampment and witness how civilians and soldiers lived in the late-1700s. Redcoats and American patriots will converge on the Cantigny Parade Field twice each day to engage in mock battles complete with cannon and musket fire. The skirmishes are narrated from the sidelines to help spectators understand the action.
