2019 Battle of Dade City Civil War Reenactment
Civil War history comes to life at the annual Battle of Dade City Civil War Reenactment on February 22-24, 2019 at the Pioneer Florida Museum & Village in Dade City, Florida. The Battle of Dade City Civil War Reenactment is also known as the Skirmish at White House. School Day is held on Friday with a Civil War living history exhibits and demonstrations from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Battle of Dade City Civil War Reenactment
The public is invited to tour the authentic Confederate and Union camps on both Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Reenactors will be “in character”. Get a glimpse of how soldiers and civilians of the era lived and what it was like during the Civil War. Skirmishes will emerge from the village and battles will take place at 2:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Schools are invited to schedule field trips. The educational value of this event cannot be overemphasized, so on Friday, the encampment hosts a School Day. At the School Day, students may rotate through different stations learning about the Civil War: cannons, musical instruments, medical hospital units, rifles, Union Camp, and the Confederate Camp and the Cavalry, to name a few.
